No one communicates the designers’ intended message in their work like the model. Her near perfect female form and features contribute largely to the public perception of a designer’s work.
A model is the person who helps present the first, lasting and never forgotten impression of any designers’ collection.
Models are major players in the fashion industry, and they have definitely contributed to the growth of fashion and style in Nigeria.
Nigeria has come to realize the importance of models in the fashion industry, and has embraced them.
Oby Ezendukwe is a Nigerian supermodel by all standards.
Oby is a final year law student at the University of Lagos. With Oby’s features, it would have been a total travesty not to have taken up modeling. She has been on numerous catwalks both internationally and locally.
Some of the shows Oby has featured include: This Day Fashion Show, the United Nations Catwalk the World, fashion for food show, Tiffany Amber show, MOMO Couture, Lanre Da-Silva, Adebayo Jones, Zizi Cardow.
Models are to the fashion world as the paper is to the printer.
