The Window to your Soul - Mariam Ufeli

“The beauty of a woman is not in the cloths she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because, that is the door way to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It’s the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows.”  -Audrey Hepburn

I totally agree with Audrey Hepburn, the eye of a woman is the window to her soul. The eyes is a reflection of what is really going on inside. You can see through the eyes joy, peace, tenderness, pain, fear, anger and more emotions.

The art of eye makeup as a way to beautify the eyes is an act whereby you artistically draw attention to and/or away from some areas of the eyes. When the eyes look tired, make up can bring it back to life. Makeup can make the eyes look fierce or warm. With makeup, the window to the soul can reflect what you want it to reflect.

Makeup can take years out of one’s life. To hide fine lines and wrinkles, conceal around the eyes and set it with a translucent loose powder. This too can be used to hide dark circles and discolorations around the eyes.

In other to wake up the eyes, line the waterline with a skin tone colour eyes pencil (for a dark skin person) and white pencil (for a light skin person). This will brighten up the eyes. You can also highlight the outer corner of the inner eyes.

To give the illusion of an eyelift, highlight under the brow bone. Also line your eyes and wing it up to lift up a hooded and drooping eye.
